Sol Angel Wynter has served the community in several roles under agencies such as the Food Stamp Employment and Training Program; the State of Florida Department of Children and Families Economic Self-Sufficiency Services Program; and Hospital Inpatient Services, helping uninsured gain medical benefits through state, federal and privately funded programs. She has also served as field choice counselor for the Florida Medicaid Choice Counseling Program and since 2011, with UnitedHealthcare as the Region 4 community outreach coordinator. Wynter has worked with the United Way of Northeast Florida, the Schell-Sweet Community Resource Center and Duval County Public Schools. Her goal is to bridge needs with resources by encouraging professionals and businesses to work as one on behalf of diverse communities.
