Dr. Brian Seymour
Brian Seymour, Ph.D.

Dr. Seymour earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and master’s in clinical science from San Francisco State University. In 1996, he received a doctorate in immunology from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Seymour has authored or coauthored over 24 scientific publications. His notable work in the field of allergy, asthma and immunology has been published in several leading peer-reviewed journals, including Science and Nature. His pioneering work on the effects of second-hand smoke on allergic asthma was partly instrumental to legislation that bans smoking in public places in the state of California. Dr. Seymour is currently research director of the newly constructed Center for the Prevention of Health Disparities at Edward Waters College.
