Matt Bondaryk Receives 2014 Community Caring Award
Matt Bondaryk, a health services analyst at Mayo Clinic, recently received the Mayo Clinic Community Caring Award. This award is given to employees for outstanding service to their communities. Individuals receiving the award are recognized as having contributed their time, talent and commitment to positive changes, and having inspired others to give back to the community. Bondaryk was recognized for his volunteer work alongside his wife serving weekly dinners in a downtown Phoenix soup kitchen, where they have helped to serve hundreds at each sitting.
Bondaryk is a member of Mayo Clinic’s Health Equity Research Initiative (HERI), a program focused on reducing health disparities in communities. Bondaryk transfers his passion for and commitment to helping others to his work for HERI. In his relatively short tenure, Bondaryk has become an invaluable resource to other researchers and staff across Mayo Clinic’s campuses, never failing to offer help or assistance when needed.
